Asking questions inherently says, “Maybe there’s a different way”.
And there always is.
We get stuck in habits. Ruts. Conditioning. Familiarity.
Asking questions aids energy to move, to flow, to become well again.
Stagnant energy invites illness.
Think of a murky pond. It breeds all sorts of bacteria, mosquitoes, and other pesky critters. Its water is not potable. And it stinks.
Think of a swiftly flowing stream. Its water is clear. It is fresh. It feels energizing to be around. It jumps and splashes joyously, playfully like an innocent child.
To be healthy, we want our energy to flow – our potential to move freely like a lively stream.
Asking questions is a great way to keep our energy ‘unstuck’. It reveals debilitating assumptions. It breaks rutted patterns. It opens the way for opportunity and ingenuity.
Ask questions.
Ask questions of yourself, of the universe, of your political leaders, of your institutions, of your civic structures, of your personal patterns of organization.
At the 2008 “Live Earth” concert in New York City, Keith Urban wore a tee shirt which read, “Ask ?’s”.
Ask questions, ask questions, ask questions. Shake yourself – easily and gently – out of complacency. Simply begin to ask questions. Question what has seemed obvious to you. Reveal the deeper truths.

Questions to Ponder: In what ways am I stuck? What assumptions am I making about what is and isn’t possible? Am I holding myself – or others – back out of limiting beliefs? Am I truly open to beauty, love, peace, joy, and prosperity – for me and for others? What am I most afraid of? What am I most willing to change, to explore, or to experiment with doing differently?
