Why are we not taught this
in kindergarten?
This is absolutely essential
in the ‘guidebook’
of how to successfully be a human.

Step 1. Become self-aware. Notice how you are feeling. Does it feel good? Does it serve you? Does it inspire you? Does it support your mental, emotional and physical health? If you are already feeling good – great! You may wish to improve it. If you are feeling crappy, you will definitely want to move to Step 2.
Step 2. Ask yourself: “Where am I right now on the ‘Map of Emotions?” A feeling state will immediately come into your awareness – one of the descriptor words from the ‘Map of Emotions’.
Step 3. Ask yourself: “Where do I want to be on the ‘Map of Emotions’? How do I want to feel?” Like magic, one of the descriptor words from the ‘Map of Emotions’ will immediately come into your awareness. This is your deeper wisdom identifying to you where you can be, now.
Step 4. Plug yourself in to this new emotional level – just like a switchboard operator unplugging you from one level and plugging you in to your desired level. Because you recognize the emotional levels now, you can shift your resonance from one to another. With practice you will be able to do this in an instant. Like a ‘miracle’ your feeling, thinking and body states will shift to where you direct them to.
Step 5. If you aren’t able (it may take practice) to plug yourself in to the emotional state that your deeper self identified to you in Step 3, then ask yourself: “What emotional state can I plug in to right now?” And do so. Experience it for a few moments … then ask again: “What emotional state can I plug in to right now?” Continue this – leap frogging a few levels at a time – until you arrive in the emotional state which your deeper wisdom identified to you in Step 3.
