When we – individually and collectively – learn and practice the ‘3rd Way of Expressing Anger Constructively’, there is no longer a danger of destruction in the face of our anger.
In fact, our anger becomes purely constructive. It dismantles that which is obstructive to well-being. And in its former place it creates something refreshing and new.
We might aptly call this ‘de-constructive’ – dismantling that which is untrue, that which is unsustainable, that which is suffocating our life force – and from this newly accessible clarity and energy, constructing anew.
Anger is an energy of ‘God’ – just as all emotions are.
When we discipline ourselves from justifying our outwardly violent use of anger – and our inwardly violent use of anger – we have only one thing left: the healthy, mature expression of our anger as a powerful energy with which to restore and to create.
Among us humans, historically there have been two basic types: aggressive manipulators and passive bystanders.
Only as we begin to exercise the ‘3rd Way of Expressing Anger Constructively’ will we begin to right our planetary ails and ascend to a new level of our potential as human beings.
Anger is our route ‘up’.
Our pure anger
has the power
to blast us out of perpetual suffering
a new realm
of what it means to be human.
