I’ve been attuned to ascension (see Birds’ Eye View – A Travel Guide to the Universe) for twenty years, having never consciously heard or contemplated this word before.
Ascension, simply put, is the human (it encompasses far more than humans – though let’s keep this simple) quantum evolution beyond our historic experience of Space and Time. It is a ‘spiraling up’. It is a ‘gear shift’, the degree of which has not been experienced since the beginning of Creation. It is the next evolutionary leap since the Big Bang.
Having put it in such a colossal context, it is really very simple. Ascension is the awakening of human consciousness into higher, quicker, more quicksilver frequencies of vibration. It is the enfolding of darkness, for once and for all, into Light …
In future posts I’ll be sharing more comprehension of ascension, plus tools for quickening your own vibration to be frontline in experiencing this monumental shift.
Today, let’s contemplate ‘Lifting the Lid’.
Imagine a society caught in a sewer, locked in by a ‘lid’. Imagine this society so accustomed throughout Time to the presence of this lid that they don’t notice when it’s lifted. They keep behaving, and thinking, and relating to one another as if the lid is still on.
Have you ever heard of the psychological research experiment with the fish? A researcher placed a fish inside a luxuriously large aquarium. The fish swam, exploring and engaging the entire spaciousness of the aquarium.
One day the researcher placed a glass wall midway along the aquarium, dividing it in two. A couple of times the fish swam its typical trajectories, bumping its snout into the here-to-for non-existent transparent wall. It learned. It learned quickly. It learned that to swim its former circuits meant pain. And so it began swimming shorter circuits, ensuring that it never again would bash its snout into the transparent wall.
One day the researcher removed the wall.
What did the fish do? Can you guess?
It continued swimming its shorter loops. Either it was so conditioned to perceiving its aquarium as now ‘small’ … or … it didn’t fancy bashing its snout again if its curiosity proved to be dangerous … or … it did trust that the wall actually was removed, but it didn’t dare risk the wall being placed in its way again at some random moment by someone outside its control.
So forever and ever, the fish swam a short loop. It limited its potential. It stayed small.
How about you? In what ways are you still living ‘as if’ there’s a glass wall halfway across your playing field’? Have you checked out to see if former ‘walls’ are in fact still there? Are you ‘playing it safe’? Have you become conditioned to be scared?
These are normal questions to ask anyone in the human family.
When did ‘our’ glass wall come into being? Has it always been present? Has it ever been removed? Is it there now? Or do we simply imagine that it is?
Imagine a bird in a cage (that’s you). And imagine the door to the cage now being wide opened.
What do you do?
Want more opportunity to contemplate these questions? See future post “What I Learned from The World Cup” and others.
Want personal mentoring in exploring these questions in your own life?
What if … the lid is off of your life? What if … the door to your former cage is now open / has been open for some time?
